Here are the three most often used white paper formats.
Choose the one you believe is best suited for presenting your solutions to your customers.
The two-column format is great for supplementing the main content with illustrations quotations and anecdotes. The letter format is the standard general-purpose white paper layout. Photos and graphic elements (charts, graphs and tables) are inserted inline with the main content.
The magazine format is ideal for literature that will be printed on paper but not recommended for papers that will be viewed on a computer screen. The necessary scrolling up and down makes the papers rather tiring to read.
Below are brief, illustrated descriptions of the popular formats.
